Well as I’ve been away for a while, my in game priorities have changed and thus my list of things I want to accomplish has changed.
Top Priority
- Chunder to 70 before WotLK
- Flying mount for Chunder
- Epic flying mount for Chunder
- Accumulate a nice stack of Gold in readiness for WotLK
Even though no one knows when WotLK is going to drop, I don’t think I’ll have any trouble getting the last 6 levels knocked out in time. I’ve also got the gold on my Bank Alt for the 2 flying mounts!
What I would like to have done before WotLK
- I’m going to try to turn the 6k gold I’m sitting on into 8k or maybe 9k (so 2k after mounts have been purchased
- 375 Alchemy on Boog
- 375 fishing on Chunder
- Bandaid\App\Chompi into 39 BG’s and twink the shit out of them
- Get back to blogging (actively cross promote the blog on other sites, change the layout\theme etc etc) and move it across to my own hosting
I think that’s about it for the moment. Although WotLK might not drop til the end of the year, I’ve only got until early Sept to knock all this shit out as we’re expecting our second child in late Sept which will mean WoW time will be reduced to next to nothing for a month or so (at least). In that respect I really don’t mind if we don’t see WotLK until Xmas or early 09.
Well after just over a month away from the World of Warcraft due to a crazy time at work, and some nice weather. I have managed to drop almost 10lbs as I’ve been a lot more active (which is nice) and if I’m honest I’ve not really missed WoW that much.
The wealth of WotLK info which has been doing the rounds in the last week or so though tempted me back and I’ve spent a couple of nights in Zangarmarsh getting reacquainted with Chunder. I managed to hit 64 last night, and 375 Herbalism (so I’m once again toying with swapping a prof on Boog to Alchemy). I’ve still got a full bar of rested, and a full quest log so I reckon I can squeeze another level out of this Zone before heading across to Nagrand.
My alt buddies have moved on from the late 20’s and are now in the late 40’s which means that once again like ships in the night we have missed the chance of levelling up together. That said they’re playing a Warrior\Driud combo so once they hit 70 we’ll have 2 options for tanking\healing and either of us could probably go DPS in a pinch. I’m going to get my priest up to 29 and then BG him for a bit I think, that is if I spend enough time online to actually need to leave Chunder alone.
I’m going to sell all the tailoring mats that Boog has (I can’t be arsed to get the last few skill points of tailoring for a toon I wont play til WotLK), and change professions to something a bit more useable\profitable. As Boog wont leave the city, it needs to be something that can be done stationary, so Alchemy seems to be the one to go for. While I’d like the Alchemists Stone on Chunder, I’ve currently only enough money for 1 epic flying mount which I’m not going to waste on a toon that isn’t going to be played much. I love the idea of a farm bot with an epic flying mount, and Boog even not particularly well geared can grind mobs pretty fast, I can’t see myself having enough playtime to actually specifically farm. It’ll be grabbed as I go along which is why with Chunder I know I’m going to get a fair amount of herbs\ore as I level. (dis)Enchanting is always going to be profitable, and while it’s only at 275 on Boog I think i can probably leave it at that level and still make cash once WotLK is out.
