Priest... its quite a struggle until 36 or so.. after that, its cake, especially once you get shadowform... Shamans are pretty much the same way... Except shamans are way easier 10-20.. then it balances out from 20-40, Just like the priest...

That's what I've done with my most recent characters. I tried the whole "go to Outlands at 58" thing with Eledith and it didn't work so well. Of course, as a resto druid, she didn't have the killing power of some of my other toons, but still.

If you can get a 70 or two to run you through Strat or Scholo, you can pick up a lot of quest experience and some pieces too, or just go for the Ramparts idea.

Personally, I like to be over-levelled for places by a level or two just to make it a little easier. With Emelyn, I hit Hellfire at 60 and I was 62 by Zangarmarsh, 64/65 for Terrokar and it helps a lot in making those quests just that little bit easier.

Also, if you haven't done the Tirion Fordring quests in EPL yet, they're well worth checking out. The first ones are somewhat tedious, but once it gets into the proper storyline, they're worth it.

Hello Chunder. I'm a friendly shaman from a distant realm with some opinions/theories for you to toss around. First, I think elemental is going to be the better complement to resto both gear-wise and talent-wise. I was messing around with the talent calculator and came up with a 31/0/30 build that might be decent for what you want. I threw it up as my website, since I'm not fancy enough to figure out how to do links ;).

Couple of comments on it. The 5 points in Purification could be put in Lightning Overlord, if you want to do more damage, but I felt that it was more neccesary to get the 10% bonus healing for instances. My biggest problem as a resto shammy while soloing was mobs resisting so I put 3 points into Nature's Guidance, but that meant no points in Healing Grace, which is your threat reducer. It might be neccessary to pull points oout of NG or Healing Focus to put into that. Finally, the one point in Eye of the Storm is really a throw away point, if you see anything else in tier 4 or below that you want a point it, feel free.

Hope that helped a bit ;)

Level 19 should help you out in the BGs, eh? I know about the twinks but the higher up in level you go, the less they factor in. At lower levels, just ignore the BG chat and do what you can to help the team win and pick up some honor on your way. So you get killed a lot. I like to find one person I can own on the BG and keep going after them and after them. That makes it less of a grind than dying from someone doing the same to you. LOL...
